Bukit Batok Natural Park

 

Bukit Batok Natural Reserve Park…  I have not been here for more than two years. This morning is a day with perfect lighting for photo taking. I manage to capture the good light and produce some things different from what I have taken from here before, it is the result of the long break, yes 凡事都需要a 'break’ before you move forward.

 

 

相同的地点,同样的光线…….

 

这是我开始对光线的认识的和磨练拍摄的地点, 我时不时会回到这里重覆拍摄, 虽然我现在能直接拍出不错的效果,但这只是在技术上的控制,画面就少了’心’的感觉.

新一代的flash unit 比起八十年代的flash unit 更容易控制光线的应用，但一切都要从头学起，有更先进的硬件，就应拍出更有质感的相片，学无止境。

 

Water and Ice Forms Pt III

  是练习控制光线的好 project.  …. Due to the nature properties of the water and ice, I have to change the flash gun positions and its output and the exposures during photographing, these technical problems are easier to tackle than the ‘soft’ part of the image..eg  composition, color arrangement etc.

      还是不能控制好光线 …. Will continue to test until to get it right…

Water and Ice Form

   After many  trials, I achieve this by placing the flowers under ice and water, shooting against flashlight in manual mode, the result is much softer than those images created by photoshop software. 

  There are few more technical problems to solve, e.g.  chosing the types of flowers, arranging of subjects, flash gun positions etc …   need to draft out the ideas before the next shot.
